I saw the top comment, but I'd like something to add. I feel like the tablet is a scanner for a room, so I'd propose an idea of being able to change the NVCS-3000 between tracking and GPS. When in GPS mode, it'll give you the entire layout of the room you're in; your location, and even your teammates. The scanning mode will scan for items, but it will also scan for entities in real-time (the entity will be highlighted through walls). This can be nice for dupe, but it is also perfect for keeping track of the figure. If the entity is something like Rush or Ambush, then the tablet will just display "MAJOR THREAT DETECTED." Idk. It seems like it would make sense for such a rare item. Side note: I went through the A-1000 doors twice because I died with it the first time to figure.

What I find ridiculous is that you can't keep the item percentantly. LSlpash should make it so you can keep it forever, much like the green flashlight in the beginning of the rooms OR make it a game pass. Not only would he get money from making a game pass but it'd be a good way for players to have this item because this item is extremly useful during doors 50 and 100, and who knows. Maybe when floor 2 comes we can use this item. I think in floor 2 though it should have a cracked screen on it since we did fall a long way. I also think it should work a little worse than when we are in the regular hotel because we are In a mineshaft, atleast I think we are gonna be in a mineshaft for floor 2.. who knows?

I think the scanner needs to scan more items in order for it to become really useful as rn, it's only really useful for finding keys and books.

Wanna know what would be nice if there was a button you could activate on it every 5 minutes and that you know what entities there are in the next or 1 or 2 doors since it isn’t perm and it wouldn’t be too OP it would be just nice incase and probably the chances are low that a entity will spawn when you activate it but it’s nice for A-90

I got hit by a-90 so I had 10 hp, then I beat rooms. As I got to door 96 I felt happy. Guess what? Door 98 was eyes and due to 10 hp I died before I got to look away

I hope in the upcoming updates any a-1000 badge people will have a special drawer for the scanner noone else but them can open it. I wish the would be more usefull like locating usefull items (like crucifix, lockpick and etc). Or just to find DUMB easter eggs or lore.

After you beat rooms, then the tablet will appear in the rift at the start. If you dont take it, it will still be there next run, or you have to take it and beat doors to put it in the rift to save it? Actually, its kinda stupid that you can lose it forever. It would be much better, if it gave you the item in the rift and also you will unlock new purchase option to get it at start of the run for like 200 knobs.

After you beat the rooms and take it you will have to take it to the rift and store it there if you wish to use it again. I too thought it was ridiculous for it to not be permanent or at least purchasable after you get the badge.

The rift will disappear once you take the item from it on door 0, you'll have to reach door 100 if you want to put a different item in it

I’m late to this update but i have a question so if you put an item to the rift and next round you take it out and then this new round you are doing with that item you just connected to the rift and you beat the game but without putting the item back will you still keep the item next round or it won’t spawn after the elevator song ends if it doesn’t it’s gonna be very sad cause i want the items to be permanent

If you take it your item from the rift at the start you have to put it back in it at the end of the round

Do you HAVE TO beat doors after exiting the rooms (by clicking "continue run") and place the scanner in the rift or you can click "exit" instead of "continue the run" after exiting the rooms and the scanner will be in the rift at room 0 next time?

You have to continue the run and get to door 100 while carrying the tablet

While they work to make the Scanner better they could make it so you can buy It in the starting shop and that only 1 guy can use it at a time, if someone else tries to use the scanner while someone is already using one then it wont work and a message will appear saying "Interfierence Detected", this will only dissapear if the other person using it turns it off/stops using it

Bro this is just ridiculous and not worth it at all. I've beaten Room A-1000 and i didn't even use the Tablet in doors once cuz i'm scared to lose it! What's the point of adding an item if you can't even use it. I mean people can use it but some people like me does not have a good internet connection so i don't think any of them will take the chance to risk it after going through that pain. LSplash should make the item permanent or either delete it from the game cuz i wouldn't care if they do. Literally no one uses this item, it's just there to show off nothing else.

@@DM_Art You have to beat the game and physically put the tablet into the rift. Taking it out is a huge risk because it's incredibly easy to lose so most people don't use it at all.
