Surprising my kids with a “kick off to the holidays” vacation!! We fly out tomorrow. Universal for 5 days and the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to end it with a Christmas parade and fireworks - since Universal pushed back Christmas. I am so excited!!

Holidays at Universals is extremely magical. If you can see the Grinch, it is extremely adorable but you gotta run to make it to it. A lot of people wanna see it and the theater is intimate which is a nice way of saying small.

I have been lucky enough that for the last three years I have been able to be there when the Manheim Streamrollers are there and just WOW. It is the same show, but it is still amazing and at the end the cast of Grinchmas come out and sing the songs from the show and it is amazing. I'm already about 75% packed for our trip. We will be there from Dec. 2 to Dec. 10. Please bring back a seasonal crepe, Totally agree. Thanks again for a wonderful video.

The parade is really fun & crowded, you're definitely not wrong about that. I saw a video that was posted with the new voice for Hermione on the Hogwarts Express & it's much better. $80 does seem steep, but if you get to pet Max, it seems fair lol. Definitely need some seasonal tots and/or crepes. Tyler had me dying laughing right at the end lol.

*Hears Manheim Steamroller and freaks* OMG I love this band! Been a fan of them for over 20 years now and I do have 1 of their albums. If you listen to the radio and there's a channel that plays Christmas music now, you might have heard them because that's how I learned about them, along with Trans-Siberian Orchestra. So yeah if they do come to Universal when I want to go (which is early December 2025 or 2026), then I'll definitely take time for that! In my neck of the woods, there was a Christmas Showcase, and one of the vendors had a Ravenclaw scarf and beanie on sale for $15, and that's my house, so I finally got something HP related to wear, so I hope it's not too hot because I want to wear it when I go for at least one day since I plan on hitting every HP area lol. There's also another big reason I want to come to Universal in the Winter- less likely to rain lol. I know I'll bring an umbrella for backup, but I know Winter in Florida doesn't see as much rain as other times in the year lol.

Something you made me think about during this video are the various events that happen during the daytime like character shows, that you wouldn't normally see during the Orlando Informer meetups. If someone wanted to go into the parks during the meet up and try to see some of these shows, what would be the best way to go about it

Yeah absolutely! When you get the email with the map for the event, it should have show times for everything that’s available on it. I’m not sure if they have every show available every night, but they have the majority of them!

Are there any shows that happen before the Meetup hours, that you should try to sneak in during normal Park hours? you know that wouldn't be included during the Meetup

@@gerry04401Bourne Stuntacular, Wholiday Spectacular, Horror Makeup Show, & the Macy Parade are all things that aren’t available during the OI Meetups but you can usually hit before the park closes to day guests if you enter as soon as they let you in (usually 5pm).

It’s not a gift card, just a virtual cashback thing on their end. At least that’s how they did it last year. It just showed up as credit when they scanned your pass!

Hey guys my wife and I are deciding on either Disney or Universal annual passes. I prefer Universal for the rides, and the better perks you get over Disney. My wife who isn't into extreme rollercoasters like the Hulk, thinks there will be no rides for her, as she is used to Disney World, and likes rides like Guardians of the Galaxy, Tron, Pirates of the Carribean, thunder/splash mountain and the Star Wars rides. We went to Univeral last December and had a blast (well I did at least), but because we hadn't been there in a while we are not as well versed in all the rides Universal has, as we are to Disney's. Would you guys happen to know what rides she could possibly be interested in at Universal that are comparable to their Disney counterparts that I mentioned.

Honestly there are only three coasters at Universal that we would deem as intense coasters and that’s Hulk, Velocicoaster, and Rockit. Aside from that, everything else is either 3D similar to the star wars rides or less intense coasters similar to guardians of the galaxy. If she can handle that one, she’d be good on anything but those three at Universal. You can pull up the app and look at all the different rides, and we also have a video where we rank them by intensity!

Hi Tyler and Anna another great video as always. We are beyond excited to be returning to the parks this Christmas. We will be driving down to universal from upstate NY and will be there December 17 through December 29. we are doing 1 day at disneys magic Kingdom and staying for mickeys very merry Christmas party then doing a day at seaworld and doing the killer whale encounter and penguin encounter and of course getting our pictures with rudolph and bumble then finishing up at universal studios and islands of adventure and of course doing the grinch breakfast..I was wondering if you have ever done that universals holiday tour? I was considering doing that what is your feedback on this? We hope to finally get to meet you both this time around.

Why does the holiday store mark the location of the big tree with a llama? Or is that map indicating something else near that area? I thought it was marking the mummy locker but didn't spot anything other than the tree in the area.

Here planning a trip from Germany to South America and we are taking a day to go to Universal. Your channel had really helped us, we are coming with our 2 kids (2 and 0) so it will really be a challenge so we would love some input from you guys. We are staying at a premium hotel and are thinking of doing only Universal Studio. our 2 questions are: do you think the ticket price will go down between here and December 9? we are staying only one night at the hotel for the express pass and would love to know if there are other inside perks we can take advantage of if possible. Depending on park hours, absolutely! I’d say more times than not you’d be able to make it to IOA before park close and see the show!
