Love the amount of flat coverage. As a mid school guy I was explained to the younger kids how we knew about the racing ,flat, and dirt scene just as much as rank and street because of things like Bmx plus, snap, and company vids like American muscle and dead sailor. So we knew about Greg romaro and NorCal pull, and we knew how day smith did in B3 just as much as nasty and Doyle are doing on the dk dirt circuit. I guess what I’m saying is this is really cool to see all the coverage and give some light to our sides of the sport other than just coasters and flat ledge content. Keep it up boys!

I already commented on this a while back...but I just re-watched it. New thoughts - A) Takahiro doesn't switch rigs so he just knows his bike the best. Period. It took me two years to build my current flatland rig...And it is staying that way for a reason. B) Benjamin Hudson's slow, creeper style is gold. C) Alex Jumelin and Matthias Dandois have their own little microcosm thing going on from riding together...which is hard to do in the age of light-speed, global information overload. ...Now I'm going to ride and shut my grease hole.

Does anyone know what kind of red bike that takahiro was riding& black bike that Dominic nekolny was riding? wicked fame&bars..
ikeda is really good. But my problem with him is he needs to expand his style. Too many videos i see him do the exact same couple of tricks. with minor variations on the same tricks. I like the riders who have a wide range of tricks that they do really well.

A lot of old schoolers can't handle the constant circle. I'm old school myself. .and I have grown to appreciate it. A lot. Watch it again and check out Benjamin Hudson's run. It's slower and more palatable for the old schoolers. I don't ride like this...and don't want to...but, man, these guys are ninja-core badass.
@randinonsense73605 жыл бұрын
@@HexBMX well there's the upsides as well as downsides. I thought I was the only one that felt like this till Eddie fiola made video talking about it. Times must change as things do I am sure it takes much skill and like back in the day some ppl stood out more than others and they did some cool tricks but as well as the tricks became a certain way so have the bikes. May be built stronger but majority looks the same and it kinda took something out of the sport. I guess that's why x games stopped flatlanding out of competition. It kill me because skateboarding is still going.
@HexBMX5 жыл бұрын
@@randinonsense7360 I totally get it, man. And when I heard Fiola say that, I was like, "Yep!". I have certain new school riders I like to watch...but a lot of riders fall into the circle abyss.

Ok, wait just a damn second.. 1st place!? "So, smooth and original"!? Are you high? 85% of his run is page 1 of "Flatland for dummies" Hey, guys..2002 called kuoppa and gomez want their tricks back. I was doing this same exact run when I was 16-17 they were some of the first tricks I ever learned lol. I'm so sorry to the runners up, and I'm sorry but 1st shouldn't have even cracked the top 10. This is so bias it's honestly not funny cause this is how a lot of them make their living and put food on the table. To the judge I hope you choke on that bribe money..
