Same. Great commentary. Such enthusiasm. The Sportsnet and NHL highlights are very dry in comparison. Love seeing the city before too. As someone from the UK games are too late to watch live. So watching the highlights with a coffee is as good as it gets for me.

@@LukeVenables Sportsnet and the NHL put out highlights after every game. But they don't have Joe Bowen! And Jelly shows much more of the action, rather than just the goals

Dunno if I missed a discussion about this… but as someone who has listened to the radio call for many years…. Why is the title not “Joe Bowen AND Jim Ralph” ??? These two are absolute beauties and their effortless banter is like the great comedy and broadcasting duos of the past century. Let’s put some respect on his name!

O/T: Nothing to do with sports... but are you familiar with an old NPR radio show called 'Car Talk'? I don't remember the names of the 2 hosts, and I don't *think* it's supposed to be comedy.. buuut I'm not actually sure. Just another example of solid commentator gold. Also great car advice and probably a huge boost for public transit.

They should put Robertson on a line with Tavares and Nylander next. He should play with some veterans. I think Robertson needs to work on his game and practice more but they need to play him regularly with veterans. Knies is doing well but he has good linemates in Matthews and Marner. Why can't Robertson play with Matthews and Marner?

Knies goal... shot to the net with traffic in front. Puck ends up in the net. Surprise Surprise Surprise. Last year during a powerplay on national TV towards end of season... leafs made 29 consecutive passes in offensive zone without a single shot. All around the outside...ballerinas pirrhouetting hither and fro.... Not this season. Thanks to Berube.... finally, some sensible, playoff built hockey.

Good fight by Dewar. I just wish they could all agree to take off their helmets before fighting. So un-motivating to throw your bare fist at a hard plastic shield that you could break your bones on or slice yourself open. Plus you don't really have too much skin in the game fighting with a helmet on. You're pretty safe from getting punched in the face/broken nose/knocked out. Seems un-sportsman-like and without honour (me looks around for my beer from my comfy couch in front of my big screen tv)
