Kirk Cameron and I had the same driving instructor. On my first day behind the wheel, my instructor said he had just taught Kirk Cameron behind the wheel instruction. This was back in 1989. That was really cool! Especially when Growing Pains was at the height of its run. Kirk seems like a super nice guy, and that’s what my driving instructor said some 30 years ago, he was a very down-to-earth person.

His wife Chelsea Noble actually appeared on Full House as one of Jesse's girlfriends in season one. But I think it's sweet that Kirk really loves her and when he did Fireproof he was supposed to kiss the woman who was his wife and he refused. They shot the scene and took the woman out and put Chelsea in her place as he doesn't believe in kissing any woman but his wife, not even in acting.

I remember a friend and I finding an address in Teen Magazine to write to Kirk. We sent him fan letters stating how incredibly cute he is. Both are amazing shows that have a heart of gold. Granted life can't be wrapped in 30 minutes with a neat little bow, but the love was the driving point of these shows. Nowadays, were all too busy looking at phones & technology that we sorta lost our way to communicate. Could you IMAGINE if what we have NOW was thrown back to 1950's and what the 1950's had was thrown forward to this time? Both generations would be lost. Life was simpler back then and people knew how to talk to one another. We need to go back to that.
