You can even see Michelle shedding a tear or two. Even though she doesn’t know or understand the concept of death, she has an intuition that she was a very important person that she will never get to know on a personal level, and that there will be a void in her life.

Pam Katsopolis-Tanner was the kind of mother we all wish we had. She was stern but loving when it came to discipline, and she had a way of knowing what her children (especially DJ) were about to do before they did it (as DJ said in the episode Our Very First Show from Season 1). And she always seemed to know what was best, too. :) Of course, she did have her flaws (as all of us do), but Danny loved her all the same.

Even those who carp about this show being corny & kitschy have to admit this scene was handled very well. The show did sometimes go for the melodramatic, but this managed to be genuinely touching.

I cry every time now watching this knowing how much they lost. Really they lost their mother. Never dawn on me until I watched my friend go through hell from the lost of her mother due to a drunk driver and that she had to help look after her baby sister who had to be taken out by c-section to save the baby.

When I saw this as a kid, it made me cry, but as an adult after having lost my mother and watching this episode, it broke my heart so much, and I broke out in tears. Just how Pam was the center of the family, she was uncle Jesse's sister, Danny's wife, Joey's friend, and the girls' mom. My mother was the center of my life and my wife, my son and my half siblings and my dad, even beautiful moments we had breaks me down, this was such a meaningful episode.
