FULL ICJ HEARING Palestine Demands End To Israeli Occupation | Dawn News English

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is holding hearings on the legal consequences of Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967, with a record 52 countries expected to present evidence. The Peace Palace in The Hague is hosting a week-long session, where nations including the United States, Russia, and China will address judges.
During the hearings, the Palestinian Ambassador broke down in tears, expressing that the future of freedom, justice, and peace can begin at the ICJ. International law professor Alain Pellet emphasized the ICJ's call for Israel to return to the occupied Palestinian land.
Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki highlighted that Palestine was not an uninhabited land, stressing that there was life on this land. Lawyer Namira Negm characterized Israel's actions as a toolbox of population control and inhumane acts, restricting every aspect of Palestinians' lives.
Lawyer Paul Reichler asserted that the ICJ cannot remain silent, emphasizing that their words have the potential to change the world. British-French lawyer Philippe Sands KC stated unequivocally that the Israeli occupation is illegal and must be brought to an immediate and unconditional total end.
