सरदार को कुछ मालूम नहीं है। गुरु नानक तो क्षत्रिय थे। अगर आज सरदार जनेऊ नहीं पहन रहे तो कड़ा कंघी केश पगड़ी दाढी पहन या रख रहे हो। अब कौन हिन्दू जनेऊ पहनता है। पर सरदार जी को यह सब अनिवार्य है। कोई छूट है क्या। गुरु गोविन्द सिंह जी ने दुर्गा और शिव की वाणी लिखी पर अब उसका पाठ कोई नहीं कर सकता है। अत असहिष्णुता भी जातिवाद के बराबर हो गया। पहले के गुरूद्वारे में सहजधारी पंजाबियों के बहुत योगदान है पर अब केवल केशधारी सिक्ख ही गुरूद्वारा समिति में भाग ल सकता है। दिल्ली के सारे गुरूद्वारे हिन्दू पंजाबियों और सनातनी लोगों के योगदान से बने है पर अब जट सिक्खों का कब्जा है। पोल मत खुलवाओ।

Guru Gobind Singh ji founded khalsa which broke caste system created by Brahmanism. So Pahadi Hindu Rajas stood against Guru Gobind Singh’s Philosphy of Sikhism HINDU RAJAS ( fromJammu toNainital)ASUPPORTED MUGHALS Of Punjab andAurangzeb because Rajas believe in casteism. But all the Brahmins were not against Sikhism. Brahmins of Longowal named Bhai Diala and Mati Das ann many more supported Guru Tegh Bahadur ji and Guru Gobind Singh ji. So it was caste system which forced people to stay away from Guru Gobind Singh ji. But later on Jaats of Punjab Haryana andUp Rajsthan supported Sikhs in Command of Baba Banda Bahadur and executedWazeer khan ruler of Punjab which executed Sahib zadas of Guru Gobind Singh

अंग्रेजों ने 1935 में "The Government of India Act of 1935" बनाया था। मुख्यत: इस Act को लेकर अम्बेडकर & co ने संविधान बनाया था । कुछ और देशों के constitution से भी कुछ हिस्से लिए गए है । Sir B N Rau drafting Commuttee का सलाहकार था और पहला ड्राफ्ट इसी ने बनाया था । Constitution बनाने वाली कमेटी में शुरू में 389 सदस्य थे, जो 1947 में आजादी के बाद में 299 रह गए थे । अंत में constitution को ड्राफ्ट करने वाले 7 सदस्य थे । अम्बेडकर कमेटी का चेयरमैन था । सबने मिलकर संविधान बनाया था, अकेले अम्बेडकर ने नहीं । कमेटी में कोई ज्यादा काम करता है, कोई कम । कुछ आदमी ऐसा भी मानते हैं कि हमारा संविधान The Government of India Act of 1935 और दूसरे देशों के संविधानों से cut, copy and paste करके बनाया गया है ।

In my opinion, caste has 2 important dimensions: 1. Religious or ritualistic 2. State based or feudalistic Caste is a corrupted form of class based social stratification wherein the possibility of mobility upward in the hierarchy is restricted and closed. Rituals of purity-pollution help in enforcing the practice of caste system much rigidly. Again, caste ceases to operate in societies that are rooted in primitivism such as tribal societies wherein organisation based on kinship would barely shape inequalities and differences among kin members and joint ownership over the land would prevail. But, with a gradual transformation of society from tribalism to state based political system centred around "surplus", the society would start losing its tribal character and make a transition to agriculture necessitating the need for institutionalising the inequalities. A state that dragz surplus would eventually give birth to an unequal system like caste

Very interesting conversation. Everywhere in the world a brain surgeon or a rocket scientist is regarded better than an agricultural laborer or garbage picker. All because of their earning power. However, in India (and South Asia), it has been declared hereditary. A scavenger’s son must be a scavenger. Today, individuals of all castes are professionals in all different fields but they can’t escape their caste label. Except for Brahmins. I saw Brahmin auto drivers in Chandigarh. Brahmins running public toilets in Delhi. But, they are still upper caste. This is something you don’t see in the South. So, people derive pride from their caste even when they are performing the jobs that are supposed to be done by people whom they despise and disrespect. That is crazy.
