Full Itenerary of Our 11 Day Pilgrimage to the Holy Land (Jordan, Israel and Egypt)

Welcome to a remarkable journey of faith and discovery as we embarked on an 11-day pilgrimage to the Holy Land. In the company of my dear mother, we explored the sacred lands of Jordan, Israel, and Egypt, seeking spiritual enlightenment and connection.
🌍 *Exploring Jordan*
Our pilgrimage began in the enchanting country of Jordan, where we were captivated by the ancient city of Petra. Witnessing the rose-red city, concealed within the cliffs, was nothing short of awe-inspiring. The Siq, leading to the iconic Treasury, revealed the grandeur of the Nabatean civilization and left us in profound wonder.
🕊️ *Israel: A Land of Holiness*
Our next destination, Israel, greeted us with a myriad of sacred sites. In Bethlehem, we stood in reverence at the Church of the Nativity, the very place where Jesus Christ is believed to have been born. At the Jordan River, we embraced the opportunity to reaffirm our faith in the same waters where Jesus was baptized. In the historical city of Capernaum, we explored ancient ruins and gained insight into the life of Jesus. Ascending Mount Tabor, the site of the Church of the Transfiguration, we were filled with a sense of spiritual revelation.
In the heart of Jerusalem, we visited the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the most sacred site in Christianity, where Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected. Our experiences in these holy places deeply touched our hearts and souls.
🌄 *Conquering Mount Sinai*
One of the most spiritually significant moments of our pilgrimage was our ascent of Mount Sinai. This sacred mountain is believed to be the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments. The early morning climb was a test of physical and spiritual endurance, culminating in an unforgettable sunrise that illuminated the divine beauty of the world.
🇪🇬 *Egypt's Mystical Wonders*
As we crossed into Egypt, we marveled at the mysteries of the Pyramids, particularly the Great Pyramid of Giza, a testament to the ingenuity and craftsmanship of ancient Egypt. Our journey continued with a captivating Nile River Cruise, where we experienced the timeless beauty of the riverbanks and explored ancient temples and vibrant marketplaces.

Hi! Im from the Philippines and we got our package from Lindela, a local travel agency. They are the ones who arranged everything including engaging local travel agencies in Jordan, Israel and Egpyt. I didn't get the name of our partner travel agent in Egypt but the names of our guides are Albert and Alaidin. Albert is very knowledgable in Egyptian history and can even read hieroglyphics. Alaidin, on the other hand, did the logistics and took really good care of us from the entry immigration counters at the border to our exit at the airport. This excluded the cart ride in Petra, the camel ride to Mt. Sinai and other extra expenses. I'm assuming that the price has increased considering the drop of the peso rate. Hi! It was a bit tiring for my mom but not as tiring as I expected. The travel company handled all the transportation so we were sitting almost most of the time so whenever we visited sites, we were rested. Oh, there was one time where she got exhausted and that was when we climbed Mt. Sinai. She was 61 that time. There was also a lot of walking inside the city of Jerusalem and Mount of Olives but she was able to handle it because there was enough rest in between religious sites during the bus rides. Andyan na po sa video lahat ng ginawa namin hehe. Mostly visit po ng sites sa Jordan, Israel and Jerusalem at medyo maraming nilalakad hehe. As to suot po, depende po sa month kung kelan kayo pupunta. November po kami pumunta kasi gusto namin medyo malamig kaya magdala po kayo ng jacket hehe. Ay, pinagdala din po kami ng white na damit para sa renewal ng baptism sa River Jordan. Pwede rin po kayong magdala ng walking stick kasi medyo marami ang nilalakad hehe. Tapos, me optional po kami na hiking sa Mt. Sinai, nagdala po ako ng thermal wear kasi medyo malamig sa area tsaka flashlight/headlight. Advice pala, sakay po kayo ng camel puntang Sinai. Nagsisi po ako at di ako nagcamel. 40 dollars po iyon. Tapos Lindela po kami kumuha ng tour. Comment lang po kayo pag me iba pa kayong questions hehe Salamat po sa panonood pala. Hehe

Hello po! Bale regarding challenges po, nung entrance to Jordan, wala pong challenges kasi sobrang assisted po kami ng travel agency sa Jordan. Sa Jordan-Israel border, mahaba po ang pila at magulo. Sobrang higpit po ng security. Parang inabot yata kami ng around 1 hour din kami inabot. Israel to Egypt, matindi rin ang security pero mabilis lang. Nagtagal lang kami sa pila dahil sa tax refund, pero kung walang tax refund mabilis lang. Sa Mt. Sinai naman, advice ko po is to take the camel. Isa po yan sa pinagsisisihan namin ni Mama. Nasa 50 dollars ata ang camel ride pero sulit naman si conserved ang energy mo until you reach the 700 steps. Pababa kahit walang camel na, basta magdala lang kayo na walking stick hehe.
