Cheers for watching. This is the shortest bus route in Weymouth. There's a rumour that the X54 might will be withdrawn next year

@Dexter-wc3en ah yeah I thought it was one of the shortest! I definitely want to do the routes 1 and 2. Oh really, I'm surprised that I thought it was a popular route, hopefully it stays. Does it terminate in Wareham now and not Poole Bus Station? Also I just noticed the new First Bus logo, can't say I'm a fan of that! The old logo looked much better I'd say.

​@@MMBaus I'm not a fan of the new logo either. The X54 stopped serving Poole in May, with the last day being Friday 10th May and I was on the last journey back from Poole to Weymouth. Since then, it has terminated at Wareham but now only two trips go to Wareham and two only as far as Wool. On schooldays the first trip to Wareham is quite popular with students travelling from Wool to the school in Wareham. I remember that from when I used to get the X54 to Poole but luckily they never caused any trouble for the driver

@Dexter-wc3en ah that's a shame I liked it going to Poole I thought that was a good link to be able to get over towards Weymouth. Seems like they've been cutting it back a lot already I can't believe it would still be unviable to make them fully withdraw it. Shame it's not publicly owned as all these issues will keep happening where private companies are too commercially minded and put profit before communities' needs unfortunately.

@@MMBaus That's definitely true. The X51/3 aren't being cut back luckily, but that's because it brings the company more profit than the X54 which is a shame. I totally agree, bus services should be publicly owned. The sooner it happens, the better
