I love the sound of the Bakerloo line trains, especially when they're pulling off.

What I like about the Piccadilly and Bakerloo line trains is that the doors open quickly

sometimes they open half a second before the train stops when the drivers feeling to kill a few people

The 1972mk2s had life extension and performance upgrade works done on them recently to keep them serving the Bakerloo line longer. The 1973 stock on the Piccadilly line has alsp had some upgrade works done on them too. Both the Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines wont be upgraded till later on as it is not on the top end of TfL's to do list presently. So they have to keep the 1972mk2 and the 1973 stocks going till then. Plus the company doing the upgrade work is very busy with other projects.

One of the busiest lines on the network. Elephant & Castle is an area in south London, the terminating or starting point on the route. Oxford Circus, Charing Cross, Waterloo and Baker Street are some of the notable and busiest stations.

Actually, it's only the 8th busiest line (of 11), despite the busy and notable stations it serves. www.citymetric.com/transport/which-london-underground-line-busiest-3315

@@James-gc5if the 4th per mile though, meaning if the lewisham extension which, as a resident of catford i would want, would mean all the hayes line commuters would use the bakerloo line making it a lot more busy

@@jfw0382 Good point. I think I read somewhere the Bakerloo was the only line with enough spare capacity to accommodate a long extension.

I think 'Close' is written here because Paddington station was closed at the time of making this video.
@kk-transport4 жыл бұрын
@@nicoladale1668 yes Paddington was closed due to escalator upgrades and a new link to crossrail platforms being built. Southbound passengers went to Edgware Road whilst Northbound passengers went to Warwick Avenue
