I loved those trains, but I wish what they did was have the class 745s on the Stansted Express route and the 379s on the Cambridge route but also the 379s doing the Stansted Airport route sometimes.

Stadler who manufactured the Class 745/0 for Greater Anglia and Class 745/1 for Stansted Express could of manufactured more extra Class 745s. Especially when Greater Anglia shouldn't use the Stansted Express Class 745/1s on the London Liverpool Street-Norwich intercity service. As they do not have tables. Or perhaps it doesn't matter what Greater Anglia use.

Can you still use an oyster card, to leave the train at Stansted, once you get on at Liverpool Street

Great question! Unfortunately you cannot as Stansted is outside the Oyster ticketing system. You can use your Oyster to go to Gatwick and Heathrow airports though 👍🏼

You can but Stations from Liverpool Street to Tottenham Hale. Anywhere else beyond Tottenham Hale is absolute NO!

I bought mine online - this is where you can also but advanced cheaper tickets. Tickets are also available from all ticket machines at Liverpool Street station or the ticket office

£13.50 with the 1/3 Railcard discount. I'd suggest booking with Greater Anglia rather than Stansted Express as the latter will always be overpriced for tourists and doesn't offer Railcard discounts.

I bought mine from the Stansted Express official website and was able to get it for 11.50 pounds and on certain days before and after my travelling date, the fare was 9.90 pounds. I checked the Greater Anglia site the fare quoted was the standard single ticket (23 pounds) and not the advanced ticket price. So stick with the official site but book well in advance to get the cheapest rate.
