I've been thinking for a few years now of buying a camper and traveling the country for at least the first 2-3 yrs of my retirement, which is maybe a year away now. Now that I've seen Ryan's tutorial on how to restore a camper, I'm thinking, while I'm not a "skilled" carpenter, I've swung a few hammers and ran all sorts of power tools, I couldn't do it as fast as Ryan, but I could get it done. Maybe some of the money I save could pay for my solar panels and electrical system. You guys should take all the rebuild footage and make a DIY video. 😉

"WOW"! the fifth wheel trailer is looking beautiful. The kitchen very very nice. The furniture Brittany redid looks fantastic. Flooring outstanding (You get it Out STANDING!!) Definitely it just like a new 5th Wheel Trailer. Once the bathroom/shower is fixed up basically you are done. Of coarse there will be a little bits and pieces to finish up, but the majority done. Next week looks as though it's going to be an incredible one. Bringing the 5th wheel back to life and most importantly bringing a new life into the world. Looking forward to next weeks video. @@SailingSunday Are you going to put a little tub in the camper as well to wash baby ?
@SailingSunday16 күн бұрын
@@jonathanscott550 The sink is so big and deep we thought maybe this would work better, but we have a little tub thing that goes in the shower which works better. The main thing we need to get used to on the rv is water storage. I mean, it's easy to get water on land, but the boat holds 6x more water and I literally just flick a switch and we get 60 gallons in an hr lol. The RV only holds about 50-60 gallons total which goes pretty quick.

You’re gonna need the room with your baby and good old Jacksonso I love your boat but I think you’re gonna need more room like Dallas.

I love our boat, but we will need to upgrade to something more suitable soon. Having the 2 master cabins is so epic with the full size heads, but with Jackson and we will probably have a 2nd child in the future we're definitely gonna need more rooms lol!!! A Sunreef 60 would probably work!! hahaha

6:35 actually funny you say that, when you have a child, everyone wants to give you advice, the only useful advice i got? “Don’t be quiet because the baby is sleeping” they become sensitive to any noise at all, be loud as you normally are, then they find that comforting.. not tip toeing around them..

@moffie449916 күн бұрын
Here’s the amazing part about the internet. Nothing is stopping you from just going and doing that, yet you still believe strangers deserve to know any shitty thought that pops in your head. Truly an inspiration to others who don’t have your confidence!
@Outrageousconduct16 күн бұрын
@moffie4499 I can say the exact same thing about you troll ,there supposed to be a sailing channel ,,not a rv channel and a rv renovation channel ,just like the GBU ,just start another channel, but then they would have the revenue with a new channel ,so it's about money and that's all it's about money ,not sailing ,there's several other channels that are just about money
@SailingSunday11 күн бұрын
@Outrageousconduct Our channel has always been about our travels and adventures, whether by boat or right now the RV... This is all part of our journey as we make our way back to the boat. Creating a new channel would make financial sense as we'd likely get it monetized almost instantly, but we chose to keep everything under Sailing Sunday because it’s our lifestyle, not just the boat... Do you realize many creators go back and forth from their homes and lives to their boats to film "living on a boat"... We’re fortunate to share a real journey of living on a boat, but also unfortunate not to have a home to go back to to give birth, hence the purchase of the RV... Hope you continue to enjoy the ride with us.
