Next time you destroy a washing machine, it would be epic if you went all out with the reinforcements. You could weld the casing together and add angle iron reinforcements to many of the bits. Videos like this one make my day. :D

Have you ever tried to run those motors through a (high power) rectifier? They seem to spin a lot faster on DC, even faster if you make a simple voltage doubler, havent tried this with a load though.

With most destructible washing machines, the motors rev up slower closer to top speed so I think the motors have a power rev up regulator
