Dude, what an awesome fade, and the way you explain what you are doing makes it simple for others to learn and do. I'm a retired Barber and I used to do fades the exact same way you do, I find that is the best way to obtain a natural fade. I cut my own hair now, I do a bald fade just like that, I can't find a Barber here where I live that can do a decent fade, so I do it myself. Keep the videos rolling, I know a lot of people are learning a lot from your teachings. God Bless.

Simple explanation can be that open means cutting the least amount of hair possible (with the bare blade or with a comb) whereas closed is the most. The in between settings can be explained in correlation to the amount of hair removed from least to most. Dope vid!

Nice hair what's that LOL? Thats like fair skin, meaning light and dark is unfair i.e. bad. slave language and offensive, really bad for business because it infers being closer to white is better hair. Black people never refer to Ethiopians of Blacks from northern Africa or Islands where native Black people live and have Blonde hair that's straight and or curly and have no white blood and are thousands of years older than white people. Not disparaging you personally but as a barber and assuming Black, there is better language that less offensive and a teachable moment for your clients. Bro.Byron Peace
@ShaferHart
@ShaferHart 5 жыл бұрын
@@byronodenms4135 what an SJW prick lol. Everybody knows what he means with "nice hair", nothing "slave language" (LOL!!!!!) or offensive about that. Go and find actual problems in life to complain about, or better yet try and fix some. Complaining about imaginary things just makes you look like an entitled little shit with no actual problems to deal with in real life.

You did it again Jeezy, another home run cut. Gonna see if I can talk my son into this cut. I've been doing your mid fade on my younger son but he like the higher bald fade instead. I need to modify my T outliner like yours. I like the way the hair just falls off on contact. I'm starting to get that rhythm down when knocking out the bottom line you do and I can tell a huge difference. Thanks for all the tips, lessons and laughs. Keep the videos coming for I still have a lot to learn.

I didn’t think it was gonna come out like it did, you really dug those guidelines in, and when fading you used the whole blade instead of the corners, I will say it came out ok, not bad. Could’ve blended the sides to too better, but overall it came out ok, better then I thought it would.. good work

Seems like you left out the part where you combed or brushed the front about an inch and trimmed it to give that fresh front look. Aside from that, perfectly explained and easy to follow tutorial! when it comes to blending, I notice you essentially close the blade to attack the line at first ( dont go up to much ) then come behind it with the blade at about half or close to fully open to clean it up... rinse and repeat as you go around the guide line to make it disappear!
