I don't know how many people agree with me but I dislike the close up fly by then cut. The close up fly by is fine but only if you pan in the other direction and keep following the bike as it pulls away into the horizon then really turns into a corner aggressively. That's where I really get the sense of how fast they are going. If you are trying to minimize the work you are doing and just want to place the camera down in one location, it's better to see them pulling away and diving hard into a bend.
