Synopsis ML, who is the heir of an affluent family based in Hong Kong, fell passionately in love with FL, who came from a modest background. However, MIL did not approve of the relationship and told FL that her son is engaged to a wealthy heiress. Heartbroken, FL left ML and disappeared from his life. Five years later, ML and FL met again in a bar. ML mistakenly thought that FL was selling her body. Enraged, he brought to his place wherein he demanded an answer as to why the FL broke up with him 5 years ago. He basically assaulted and forcefully kissed her during this sequence, with FL struggling and telling him to stop because she is married (she's not). But of course, he ignored her, and she succumbed to forced sex. During the aftermath while the FL was asleep, ML vowed that he will not allow the FL to disappear from his life again. Later on, ML investigated why FL left him. He learned that FL suffered in the five years that they were separated. Because he was still madly in love 😏, he made some financial reparations and extended help to her and her family. He also explained to her that he was not engaged and asked for her forgiveness because he kept his identity as a wealthy heir secret from her. The FL has misgivings, but in the end, she reconciled with him and resumed their love affair. The initial misunderstanding was resolved early and they got back together, with the intent to get married, at around 40 minutes. But again, to add drama and suspense, a "situation" occurred which led to FL canceling her wedding to ML. Because ML is obsessed, he tied the FL to bed to prevent her from leaving. 😂 Anyhow, true love prevailed in the end 😏.

I was afraid there’ll be the usual misunderstandings and kidnapping since they resolved their issue pretty early but there wasn’t and this was just a very good love story of two people who loved each other and unfortunately had to part ways. I loveeeeee the fact that FL was also very vocal about her feelings and constantly reassured him and it was not like he loved her and she was just going with the flow. Their love is balanced

@ there was misunderstanding and he hates her but he doesent hurt or torture her and once they cleared up the misunderstanding they had good communication, there were no triangles cos they made sure to clear it up if either one of them gets jealous. It’s a really good watch tbh, he was super supportive and never judged her and she also did same for him. He was more on the fierce possessive side but never hurt her

The problem with this drama is the FL role was written to be weak and lacking confidence. ML however, was written in a role where it is almost perfect; ex boyfriend relentlessly trying to get back with FL. Sigh it would be better for a more balanced relationship!😂😂 again a lot of complaints about FL. Problem is with lousy script writers again. Both actors are actually very good. The one thing the script writers got right is that potential green teas are not crazy!😂😂

Less than 2 mins in and my first impression is THE SUBS ARE TERRIBLE! I just watched the opening scene and the subs were so bad it would have been no different than watching it with no subs at all. I literally figured out more about what was happening by watching the interaction between the leads than I did reading those subs. I have no idea what the background story is or what their relationship is or any of that because the subs made no sense whatsoever! I'm going to try to continue watching to see if maybe the subs get better. If not, then, no matter how good everyone keeps saying this drama is, I'll just wait for it to be released by someone else who takes the time to actually prepare decent subs before releasing a video.

I give up. There's no point in trying to watch this with these subs. It's a guessing game about what is actually being said. With scenes like what I'm seeing it's important to actually understand the dialogue that goes along with it, otherwise they can paint a very different picture from what was actually intended. Like the ML forcing himself of the FL. While, no matter how you look at it it's still r@pe, there was clearly more to what was happening between them and why than can be construed by just watching the scene alone without any dialogue. Watching this would just become an exercise of frustration. Moving on.

It's pointless trying to watch this with english subs that are this bad. I won't be able to enjoy the drama because I'll be spending most of my time trying to figure out what the heck is actually going on. People on here commenting about good English subs are lying.
