0:48 . I was puzzled by this "fault" at first. But frame by frame you can see how the ball definitely loses visibility to Kaufmann.

Kaufmanns serve isnt legal either

@@dominikwalk980 The umpire said Elena has to throw the ball higher because of the verticality. Only 30 degrees angle are allowed, as far as i know. Some times you can see that Elena throws the ball towards herself, with more than a 30 degrees angle. What is the fault with Annetts serve? It´s high and has a smaller angle. The tomahawk serve is legal. I guess it´s a big problem that the umpires make different decisions.

@@dominikwalk980 I don't dispute that. I just find it remarkable that the ump was able to discern the violation at all from his angle. There are only 2 frames, from _our_ angle, that make it clear.

@@olisinterests It's not only legal, it is a _true_ tomahawk serve, which coin has two sides. * She has a tomahawk serve, Ding Ning had a tomahawk serve, as did/does Kenta Matsudaira. Ovtcharov does not. _____ * Thus, there is no such thing as a 'reverse' tomahawk serve. A player who only strikes on the forehand side might be said to have a _tennis_ serve (twist or slice or whatever).

Rules for serves on tennis table are impossible to judge correctly even with more umpires or videos, it is nobody fault and it is going to continue like this for century...😪
This game has been completely ruined by an overly officious umpire.

In time, service abuses will gradually diminish if this "rough justice" is applied more systematically. Players, especially juniors, and their coaches will gradually learn to discern when they are, perhaps unconsciously, breaching the rules. Then the _roughness_ of the justice will fall away: there will be fewer abuses and fewer reasons for complaint; umpires will just announce the points, call lets, and with solemn and ponderous dignity go and pick up the ball during time-outs.

Кауфман сама подавала несколько подач с нарушением судья на это внимание не обратил, предвзятость судьи, двойной стандарт.

Dieser Schiedsrichter ruiniert den Tischtennissport und ist eine bodenlose Unverschämtheit.
