@@charlesfriscia7236 Will they though? Zero upside for Carr to Wrestle again until the NCAAs. Given how many ducks there are...it'd make sense. I don't see Iowa State as being the type of team with Dresser OR Carr the type of Wrestler to do so, but...we all know, you put two Dogs like this into the ring, the more times they Wrestle, the more adjustments they make. We'll see. Funny though...ISU is the team that is earning that reputation of being fearless while Iowa had SEVERAL MFFs in the B1Gs last year. Edit-To be clear, pretty much EVERYONE is doing this shit now. The ducking to protect seeds. It's not something Iowa started and it's not unique to Iowa. It's just...so antithetical to Iowa that it's weird to see. We all debate if it's worth it to have a Wrestler who's a bit banged up and has a win over who he MAY be competing for a seed with to not wrestle again in the B1Gs and I know it's the same in other conferences. So NO insult meant specifically to Iowa.

I am a Mizzou fan, I was at the Hearnes, I saw this live. Carr looked amazing. He was confident from start to finish. Never looked flustered or lost. Total domination. Keegan never looked to be in it. He was waiting to see something that never showed up. Carr looked amazing. However, Keegan definitely told Carr something at the end of the match as Carr was waiting to get his hand raised, and Carr responded with something. I remember seeing Carr last year. He wasn't as big as he is this year. His upper body really filled out. He looks pretty big for 165. Last year his legs and waist were bigger than his arms and torso in such a way that he didn't look proportional. His arms looked a bit scrawny compared to his legs. This year he looks well balanced and he filled out. He is going to be tough to beat. His skills and attitude are elite at the weight. Carr's dad was there, I think he burned just as many calories as his son did during the match. He was wrestling every moment of it with his son. It was nice to see. Downright wholesome. Brock Mauller's match was the match of the night. He was in a very tough 1-1 match that went to sudden victory, and he ended up getting the pin and winning us the dual. It was amazing! The place erupted. 👍

In these cases beat them the last time you see them at NCAA. I always told the guys I coached this. I had one kid who kept getting beat by this one kid. That last time they met was the coni semis of districts. The winner goes on to regionals. My kid beat him the 4th time they met and when it counted at districts. I like both wrestlers. Even though one will have to loss. We as fans are the winners getting to watch the best go at it. In a weight class that has 3 champions in it. O Toole only had 12 matches at this point in the season that's ridiculous. But unfortunately it seems to be the way it goes these days most winning wrestler in Iowa's whole team has like 12 or 13 matches I don't like the trend even 45 years ago most guys were going into the ncaa's with minimum of 25 matches several would have 30 plus match count should definitely play a factor into seeding a 25-3 record should hold more weight than a 15-0 if the guy who was 15-0 would have wrestled another 13 matches he might have four or five losses but you'll never no because coaches are choosing to wrestle light schedules
