@@floras7826 I agree with the umpire tho ... he did call it before the ball even had passed the net. The real reason why people are upset by umpires trying to do their job is that the rules for serving are unclear and its really troublesome for the sport right now.

@@z0uLess but when an umpire calls let as the ball hits the net, but the ball then doesn’t contact the table, it doesn’t stay a let!

@@ciarantaylor367 you have a point there, but a let from the ball touching the net also comes later than a let from a wrong toss of the ball ... so an umpire having to wait to see if the ball touching the opponents side of the table before calling a toss let is kinda impractical

The call was made while the ball was still in the table vertical area or volume if you prefer, therefore it was a correct call.

The let call didn't interfere with the serve. Truls hit the ball before the call. Therefore the point should be awarded to Liam. If that's not according to the rules, the rules should be changed.
