No matter who they’re playing the Lebruns act like they can win. It makes a difference. They’re fearless.

Lebrun brothers are FZD and Xu Xin of Europe. They are studying and adapting their styles almost exactly. Alexis movement is well planned and executed. This is textbook FZD approach. TT training needs more theory and understanding of those underlying ideas (they are implementing). We (at our channel) are trying to slowly uncover what China knows for a very long time and this approach adopted by young talents can be strong opposition to Chinese dominiation in the sport. Congrats to Alexis!!

Felix Lebrun's style isn't remotely close to Xu Xin's. The similarities end at their grip.

FZD is a robo player nothing like Lebrun.FZD/Ovtcharov/Calderano same style of ball bashers with poor short game and adaptibility.Lebrun,Harimoto and Moregard are in a different class although Moregard's form is suspect due to injuries.

This high side angle is really taking out all the magic of table tennis, I feel sorry for newbie viewers, they never get to experience that X factor from this angle. As an experienced player, I find it very hard to watch. I am afraid an individual who is curious about table tennis and stumbles upon a footage taken from such angles like this will pretty much turn it off and walk away from the sport. This is not soccer

I would say that the angle is horrible, but the old one wasnt the best, the best one is the one at 13:36

I am the youtuber your describing and I indeed asked myself the question, "why are the various replay angles better than the live match angles". Its quite hard to follow when speeds get high, the angle that @Michael Doe time stamped is awesome!!!

Wow what a great match! Highly enjoyable…aside from the commentary 🤦‍♂️ Lol. Alexis seems absolutely committed to becoming world number one. Based on his work ethic, joy for the game, belief in himself, age, family history and straight up passion for doing so says to me that he will…the Lord willing. I look forward to seeing how far he goes 😉 But I feel somewhat the same towards Truls Moregard 🤷‍♂️

It's impossible to compare a guy who is playing on the circuit since he is 13 years old and one who just debuted senior tournament this year. Some people bloom at different ages. Just wait and see. We live too much in the culture of the moment.
