This was a great watch. I love Shasha but it was pretty exciting watching Miwa play like this. You can see she was aware of and taking joy in the strength of her own game. When she lost game 1 after her dad called the time-out at 10-9 I thought she might lose her mental footing, but not at all. And then the level of play with which she finally took game 3 (after having had numerous game points in game 1 and 2, but losing them) was just thrilling. I knew she was good, but she surprised me here.

After her heroics in the quarter final, I was worried Sun would have a good reason to crush Miwa Harimoto. No. Instead Miwa chan has forced me to revise my opinion. First 4 sets in this match are the best I've seen her play. Level was similar to the Olympic final. I really, really hope she stays fit.

I would appreciate it very much if commentators refrain from revealing the results of other matches as some of us are unable to watch live nor do we watch the condensed videos on the same day it comes out or in order of play. TQVM.

Sun Yingsha looked vulnerable in the Olympic final, and she was overpowered by Harimoto for most of this match. Sun looks a bit slow and jaded. Playing too much, tired? She needs a break, she's not playing up to her potential. Harimoto looked to be winning most of the time. She is the most powerful player perhaps, maybe even more powerful than Wang Manyu.

From what we see in this match, it's just a matter of time when the 16-year-old Miwa starts to routinely beat top Chinese players. Sun Yingsha will be surpassed by her in a few years' time. China will no longer dominate world table tennis like before. Miwa put up excellent performance in the first 4 games during which she could have led Sun Yingsha 3-1 if she won more critical points such as the last few points of the first game. She is only 16, lacks the same level of experience iike Sun, and appears exhausted in the last two games. It has to do with her young age but she needs to train more to insure she maintains the same energy for 7 games.

美和變線還是慢了一點。再練快一點即使孫多強也救不了的如果能再結合平野以前的變線能力加上一點戰術應該足夠打敗孫的了

这些人的话也能信？美和确实技术新颖，基本功扎实，相对平野美诚，对中国队威胁比较大一点，但是远没有到吹子们说的将来把中国队打趴抬不起头的地步。就拿本次比赛来说，美和虽然击败了同同，但是同同本身在一线选手里比较弱势，奥运会连P卡都没有抽到，大赛冠军也是几乎为零，打败一个同同，根本说明不了什么。再说美和和莎莎的这场比赛，莎莎在奥运过后全国巡演的情况下，一、体力没有经过严格管理，体能跟不上，二、没有经过系统训练，赛前准备跟不上的情况下、还能4:2击败美和、说明二人之间还是有相当差距的。至于吹子们吹美和马上就能干趴中国队，真是让人笑掉大牙。别说大赛，就是一个wtt冠军，美和有拿过吗？击败中国队，凭什么？就凭她这次击败同同，然后2:4输给莎莎？别忘了，当年平野可是一串三打败中国队，然后拿到的可是亚洲杯冠军的，伊藤更是一年之中打败过莎莎，曼昱，大迪，同同，一度排名到世界第二的，现在怎么样了？更别说美和哥哥当年更是击败马龙，张继科，樊振东，拿过wtt年度总冠军的，现在也不敢说打败中国队。 2:4就翻过坎了？当年樊振东和马龙争夺世乒赛冠军，打到决胜局duce，大家都觉得樊振东要翻过马龙这道坎了，结果樊振东整整花了八年才翻过这道坎，还是马龙在体能下滑的前提下才成功的。所以不要听吹子说的，无非就是两种人，一是只要中国的就反对，管他音乐体育政治，还有一种就是无脑粉，就是败了也要整个胜利者一样

@@africasteel1515 打敗莎是遲早的問題既然美和可以跟莎互轟二十幾板也能驘的話其實力技術已經絕對有敗莎的條件（早田也不可能做到跟莎如此相持）就…差體力上的問題。心態上她也非常強。所以不太擔心她會像早前的伊藤一樣突然崩盤
