ManUtd were the winning team taking away that awful goal-line decision. It literally crossed the line and Cech just threw the ball to a teammate out to play on so even if people say Giggs followed through on Cech a freekick wasn't given for that so they got the goal-line decision wrong and let's be honest Cech didn't think he was fouled he didn't complain about that he was just claiming the ball hadn't crossed the line but it had and also the first foul ij the incident was Essien from behind on Giggs just before Giggs on Cech, it should've been a penalty for ManUtd if you don't give the goal. You watch Essien slides in from behind only trying to foul Giggs he knows it's impossible to reach the ball from there and makes contact with Giggs.

Our game nowadays is full of sideways passing. This game here is enthralling to watch 9 mins in, each player on the pitch looking to pass to forwards, being creative, direct, brave, taking long shots, attempting volleys. I wish the game these days could entertain us like they used to. The tactics are just boring and anti football, not to mention the refs and VAR. You see here in this game how the ref just lets the game flow, has common sense, and is fair enough. Football needs to go back to what it was…

Yeah and the funny thing was back then I remember people even saying before the final this particular matchup would be quite a dull final, which it was for those days. Yet still way more entertaining and skilful than now. Only the bad officiating is still the same, ManUtd technically won this with the goal at 0-0 even if Drogba still scores which he may not have at 1-0 I felt confident ManUtd would win the shootout had the better takers so Chelsea had to win before then, unfair it never at least reached a shootout so a year later in Moscow was probably karma and funnily Drogba was sent off in Moscow in the exact same obscure minute as his goal in this (116th) both his goal here and his sending off in Moscow made the team who favoured win instead of lose.
