@@Xs-vibez74 Well fan's play is honestly a lot different lin shidong has much more optimized movement and he doesn't need as much movement to create great power plus he is backhand dominant while fan although with a good backhand is still forehand dominant. I see why people are comparing him to fan zhendong but I think their playing styles are a lot different.

Lin S.D just played amazing, let's see if he won't let a european win him like what happened in Singapore smash against Timo Boll. He is able to take Ma Long's place once he retires considering that he was able to defeat most of the main chinese national team and got better results against europeans compared to other Chinese players like Xiang Peng or Xu Yingbin, so he has everything to maybe one day represent his country in the 2028 Olympics

Ever since Wang got his blade broken and consequently lost to Truls, he is not himself. Tons of unforced errors and his frustration is obvious to see. He needs some downtime to recover. In the mean time, LSD has reached another level. He has taped down his usual unforced errors from his backhand due to overaggressive play. His forehand has been improved with usage. Did you ever see a player who can go toe to toe with his backhand against Wang's fast paced forehand? Yes, that's LSD.

can someone explain/analyse LSD backhand technique? how can he produce so much power? when i look at it closer i can see that his swing and racket head moves to right after hitting the ball..also i would say hits the ball more directly with the upper side of the racket...there is also something strong about how he uses his elbow i think... This was probably the first time I've seen Wang Chuqin playing passively against Lin Shidong. I don't remember seeing Wang Chuqin using the backhand serve, lobbing instead of attacking, playing unconventional strawberry flicks and drop shots against his opponents before. Lin played extremely well, but I don't think he forced Wang into changing his style of play. Maybe Wang Chuqin was trying to adapt, but that resulted in a lot of unforced errors. The match against Lin in Saudi Smash was one of his most competitive and best performances that we've ever seen this year.

个人观点，王这一场发球还算干净，但是正手的问题暴露的比较多，既没有连续性又缺乏单板质量，越打越不自信，擅长的反手也发挥失常，于是正手急于加质量导致下网、反手不自信导致出界，站位方面从近台被迫转中远台，而他远台能力又不行，应该侧身的球还在用反手，接放高球也基本没有得分

@@taiwoidowu2854 Yes, look at his serves, footwork, pushes, flicks and counter loops they are pretty weak and slow. Also his weird reactions when losing points during the games. I'm sure if you carefully watch his other matches you probably won't find any of his weak performance and bad acting skills. Lin Shidong has been beating top no Chinese players recently and this is a good time to mentally and psychology put fear to no Chinese players by beating the number in the world. Also they are preparing and slow transition him to the top 3 players in the Chinese national team. This is not a rigged match nor throwing the game but a good strategy from the coaches. The best players in the Chinese team are not the ones who beat their teammates but the ones that have the most successful ratings against no Chinese players Fyi.
