Looks exactly like floor finish for commercial tiles like schools etc. I was head of maintenance for a school system and made my living as a full time trapper in Nevada I think it would work fine good video

@@stevetaylor2445 Sorry for lat reply, but never got email on question. I would check with F & T Fur Harvest Trading Post. Maybe they could tell you if they have a dealer in your area, or buy from them. Thanks for the question & for watching. ▼

Can you dip conibear in it?
@PENNSYLVANIATRAPPERTV5 жыл бұрын
Only if not using them in water. The FMJ will get soft & turn white when placed in water. Thanks for your question & for watching.

I’m thinking of dipping my Conibears. Will it leave them with any parts sticking together. Will all the parts still move freely? Thank you

Hollemathan----Don't do it. My above WARNING: DO NOT USE ON WATER TRAPS. IT WILL TURN SOFT & WHITE COLOR. Best to wax your water traps. Thanks for the question. Thanks for watching.

Looks just like water based floor finish. That stuff is blue when wet and dries to clear over time. I know of a trapper that mixes some logwood in a water based floor finish, boils it and then dips the trap in the hot finish. Pulls it out and it dries in minutes. He's an old guy been doing it like that for years. He does hundreds of traps in a very short time that way. I have thought of using a catalyzed floor finish called Bona Traffic as a dip. That stuff wears like iron on floors. Or using an oil based floor finish which would be much like full Metal jacket but oil based. It would take much longer to dry and harden though. Not sure if either of these would be like epoxy on traps or be too brittle to stick. I think both would be odorless after enough time passed.

No not on water but I used conabear for beaver usually and a staked cage for Muscat those floor finishes aren't wax like back when but a polymer crosslinked etc should do great on land
