I have to say, it's a good thing Elsa is such a wide doe. She'd never have gotten that last one out alive and so folded that way. The more births I see the more I realize why you place such a priority on wide does. Another great birthing video!

Crystal, you never cease to amaze me. All kidding season, I've thought to myself "imagine what a disaster this would have been if she was still working full time off the ranch". If you needed any reassurance that you absolutely made the right decision, this season has been it! If you hadn't been able to be fully present mentally and physically the way you have, the outcome very well could have been so different and so tragic.

First rule with Elsa... Don't blink. She spits them out like rockets!! Crystal, you're always such a champ during these deliveries. There's never a doubt of why these girls wants their mom by their side during these moments. They know you will protect them, and get them through these tough moments. Awesome job!!!! Your goats are so blessed to have you assist them in their labors. I don't believe many does would survive on their own having these difficult births without you. I know these labor videos take a lot of time and editing but I so appreciate you posting them.

When you said that doeling’s head was back and I saw how hard you had to pull, my heart was breaking! And then I saw it shake it’s head and it’s little ears flicker and my heart soared!! 😱 way to go Elsa and everyone!

For awhile there, felt so unlikely to have a positive outcome.....Elsa so exhausted, Enormous needing a wrestler to pull her out....and here comes Crystal, outward calm in the midst of the storm, regardless of how your heart was racing and nerves were stretched, to deliver that folded up , gargantuan ‘little’ doe. Teamwork, always stupendous and well oiled teamwork.

I was coming out Breech when I was born, 65 years ago. The Doctor turned me around, and pulled me out. Giving me bruising on my head and brain. I caused my Mother pain. 65 Years later she still hasn’t forgiven me.

This seriously scares the crap out of me. I have (I think) a pregnant goat and I have NEVER had a goat, much less helped one give birth!!! One thing that your videos do is they give me the appropriate expectations and knowledge of what I may encounter. This in itself is invaluable and I appreciate you recording these so much!! I have watched other video's of goats birthing and i can say that all of yours are. Great !!!! Your always with them!!! And that shows you really care!! If they need you to help or dry the babies off you're there no matter what time!! I couldn't watch the other vidoes of other people because i was afaid that the babies would die. Elsa’s Labor was incredible. My gosh I wanted to go get her ice chips…poor Elsa. And Crystal you are so strong and when Derrick joins you we all know that on the outside you’re completely in control, but I just watched this labor again and I do not know how you got that little baby girl out and she was alive! And she was a very big girl! I just had to let you know that when I was younger and helped with all the animals on our small farm I didn’t have the strength or the commitment that you manage to have during labor days with all the Ladies and the Buck’s. And pulling those stubborn babies out is always an amazing sight. I’m a Grandma now, but I see how hard you all work and your love of your family and your Ladies is always showing, and they love you right back. (Even Lodi)😊 My brother and I had chores, lots of shoveled out horse stalls, feeding our 2 pet Dwarf Nubian goats, a cow, piggies, and when I watch Emily and Darren and see how committed they are it brings back good and funny times we had as kids who had chores and that made us different from most of our friends. But when I watch your show, which is usually most days it brings back happy times. I wish you all continued greatness with your Goaty Blue Cactus Dairy Farm! You are always amazing. And so much better to watch instead of reg TV. HAPPINESS always, Kathy 🤗😎💜
