That was a clarifying shampoo doing what clarifiers do. The roughness and dryness comes from the lifting of the hair cuticle. Your hair should feel stripped and squeaky clean when you use a clarifying shampoo. Its not a moisturizing shampoo. Its designed to strip.

Hi! Thank you so much for using our products. Our N°.4C works best if used before doing an OLAPLEX treatment to help rid the hair of buildup and minerals. We recommend using it once a week as part of a regular hair cleansing routine. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share it with our team. 🫧💙✨

Great video! 🥰 I’ve been using the Olaplex No. 4c clarifying shampoo once a week and like how it feels on my hair. You don’t actually have to leave it in for 5 minutes but up to 5 minutes. ❤ I love that you’ve also tried out No. 8 and 6. It’s so expensive but I might want to try it out! 😍

I feel like you should have used your regular styling products (styling creams, mousse, gels..) after using the leave-in and put the oil to your dry set for shine. To reap the best benefits since their products are very light weight. No. 4c is a strong clarifying and also chelating shampoo that can remove minerals, metals and lime residue. If you’re not used to feeling hair that stripped, it will definitely feel dry for you. Following up with a moisturising shampoo like their No. 4 can help combating that “dry” feeling before conditioners. ❤

You're definitely going to bash it this time since you've even tried it before, hehe. It might be the shampoos though. Black skin rep in all your videos. 😍
