I am from Uttarakhand and glad that u decided visit to devbhoomi ....as u all are staying in Rishikesh you all should try river rafting bungee jumping and many other sporting activities. And you'll also love to visit numerous ashram and guess what Rishikesh is the 'yoga capital of the world". One more interesting fact about Rishikesh is that lord ram along with his brothers, came to Rishikesh to do penance after killing ravana. you should also see ganga aarti in the evening near Triveni ghat which is very famous . some places to visit that i suggest are Narendra nagar, Byasi, Lakshman jhula, gita bhawaan, and parmarth niketan. hope your short holiday will be very relaxing and calming. lots of love from nainital
