Very true, sabitos fighting style is very much different then all the hashira and would have a hashira early on due to the fact he killed all the demons on the mountain except the hand demon, mainly due to the fact you have to be a kineo rank in order to because a hashira if you kill 50 demons or kill a kizuki, you cant just killed a bunch of demons as a low level rank because you gotta prove yourself your worth of becoming of a hashira, he wouldnt be nowhere near as strong as sanemi or gyomei and wouldnt exactly surpass muichiro since he a true prodigy with so much more talent and became a hashira at the age of 14 while sabito was 13 when he was killed

That is true, I remember that Gyomei is physically stronger among the other hashiras in arm wrestling. Can he defeat Gyomei in arm wrestling? Also tengen is ranked 2nd can he also defeat tengen in arm wrestling? Kokushibo the strongest upper moon can't even break Gyomei's chains that was entangled on his neck. It also shows why he's so talented and even the wife of Ubuyashiki scouted him to join the demon slayer corps because they know how much potential this kid has.

some people are forgetting that if sabito were to still be alive, he'd be stronger than giyu, as stated by giyu himself. sabito would be the current water pillar and not giyu and giyu would probably be his tsugoko. fp giyu would be stronger than muichiro, due to having one of the main breathing styles, more experience and more forms. and we are not going to forget dead calm, which is extremely deadly to demons, imagine humans. but sabito with dead calm and other forms would be extremely op. even though both sabito and muichiro both have selfless state, red blade, transparent world, marked and more. i do believe sabito would actually win this mid-high diff, due to him being superior to giyu in terms of experience, skill, strength and more.

Anyway Water breathing Tanjiro has some great feats such as killing Hand demon multiple years after it killed Sabito, i.e. the demon was stronger during the time of his death than when killing a slayer with great potential, on the other hand Kanao maintained her breathing for the whole story, so she will obviously have better feats than Tanjiro.
