With all respect for my comment,, how can this be a natural water slide?,,,clearly is man made,,,well done i should say,,for tourists and residenrs to enjoy on a hot day in Costa Rica. It's because the slide is made from a flowing natural body of water to power it. Rather then a man made pump forcing the water down the slide. If you notice at the beginning he is damming the water up instead of cutting off a pump of some sort

In a very natural setting... but natural water slide, not really. I went looking for where this slide is and it is rather remote, in the far western wilderness of Costa Rica, about 18km due north of the town of Liberia. Good find, too bad it does not have more curves.

It is the world's longest NATURAL water slide and it is in Costa Rica. It is over 400 meters long and the only one at that length that uses natural water instead of chlorinated "pool" water that most waterparks use
