Injuries sustained on field are little to do with fitness. But Angeball is hugely energetic and requires players to play at the sharp edge of their physical capabilities. Nothing to do with the fitness team.

I remember back when the Premier League was created. One of the major arguments for it was: The FA's First Division forces players to play too often, the division has too many teams in it which is damaging the quality. Hmm, and now we have two matches per week. I don't think this is anything to do with the "fitness team".

I thought all the injuries were meant to happen in season one and then it’s all good for season two under Ange as they are all now used to his training! It’s actually worse this year than last !!!

It's natural. More games this season. We have Europe this year and actually made it past the first round of the Carabao cup so we have played more games at this point than last season where we had no Europe and got knocked out first time in the cup. Van De Ven will always be an injury liability cos of his playstyle. Romero injured himself being too aggressive and Sonny is getting older. Richarlison is destined for the treatment table. Odobert is new to Ange's system.

Poch brought n Lo Celso and NDombele after the CL Loss. Both expensive, ambitious and full of potential. But Poch ended up being our biggest flop that season.
