well, we never know, and should not expect much for him. It is true that he did well on club even in Champions League. But we must remember there is a different type of pressure when you are representing your national team in a massive tournament like the euro or World Cup for the first time. Therefore, i do not think we should expect much from Lamine in the euros.

Croatia old team hahaha, no no no. Experience few players with a bunch of young talented guys. You are just uninformed and delusional. This Croatia roster based on a quality and a talent is probably the best in the last 25 years. Versatile, "wide" roster. Chemistry 🔝 Budimir few goals hahaha - 17 goals in La Liga last season, he constantly pressured opponents defence, constantly running, fightning, has a good nose for a goal, really great with a header (shot or pass). Defensive line never been so skillfull and tehnically talented. And bench guys are on fire.

I am in full agreement that Yamal has tremendous talent and potential to be an all-time great. Putting his age aside, what exactly did he do that has them saying he had a phenomenal season?? He only scored 7 goals totals and had less assists. He wasn't even in the top 3 in either for Barca and next to Lewandowski, he played to most minutes of any of the other front men. Ferran Torres had more goals than him, played less minutes, and was out for over a month with injury and he takes endless abuse because they don't think he produces. If Yamal scores 7 goals next season, or the season after, will the hype still be positive? I am a Barca fan, but all the hype is not productive or helping the team or him. It wasn't so long ago that Ansu Fati was deemed the next Messi. Where is he?

I have both teams picked as my Dark Horses. Croatia has the experience and play like a well oiled machine, they know to get to a Finals. Spain, young, vibrant, decent midfield but defense will be faced with a lot of questions. I feel Morata has the support and the young wingers to have a great EURO’s. May be a frantic 2-2 to start the group.

Spent the whole segment talking about Spain. Listen, stop the bias. Last 7 World Cup tournaments Croatia has played in three semi finals and one final. They had amazing runs in the Euros starting in 2008 and have recently lost another final and it was on penalties at Nations League. Modric is the best player, save Messi and Ronaldo, of the last 15 years. Really pundits, stop it. No other nation this small has had footballers and teams of this quality. And no, Uruguay almost 100 years ago does not count.
