Love your 'job shadow' style videos! Couple of questions I had: 1) How did you record the camera's screen? Been interested in doing something like this :) 2) You said you were using 120fps but I noticed that you had the shutter speed at 1/125 and not 1/250. I know motion blur depends on the video style but just want to know your intake/opinion on using this shutter speed. 3) What PP do you use for the real estate videos? Great video, so detailed and well explained! I just have some questions if it's ok to ask since I'm a newbie: 1) I saw when shooting, the windows were blown out, how you manage to avoid this since you are focusing for example in the dining table in this apartment? 2) When you modify white balance, you always try to set it to look like more cool than warm? Cause I saw before adjusting WB the image looks like orange because of the lights. 3) At what time you usually go and shoot real estate videos? 4) You shot mostly everything in F 2.8, when you usually change the aperture and why? 5) When adjusting ISO you can see in the camera screen if there's noise? Thanks in advance! 🙏

@InsideRealEstatePhotography4 жыл бұрын
I didn’t have any issues with flickering at this shoot but yes, lowering your shutter speed will help which makes filming at 120 fps sometimes more difficult because of the higher shutter speed. I would shoot at 60 fps if it was a big problem and that would help

Hi, I use a Canon 6D and doesn’t have cool features like focus peaking. I wonder if I should use auto focus or manual focus. When I use manual focus on infinity with f5.6, I’m not happy with the sharpness of my video focus. I’m using ef 16-35 f4.0. And shoot at 60fps with shutter speed 1/125. I really appreciate the advice. Thank you.
@InsideRealEstatePhotography3 жыл бұрын
Manual focus for video is definitely the way to go otherwise you’ll have focus hunting issues. Focusing on infinity is probably the issue. That’s too far. I check and adjust my focus for each shot pretty much. You should have focus magnification so that’s what I would use to make sure your focus is correct.

Thank you for your video. This is very helpful to me since I've been asked to shoot a walk through but have not done one officially yet. Question: You said that you're shooting at 120 fps. When I attempt that in my practice shoots I get a lot of flickering and fluctuations with the light in the rooms. Also, because I'm shooting at 240 shutter speed (I read that you should double the shutter speed of the fps?). I read online that this is due to the LED light wavelengths. Because of this, I've been shooting at 60 and 30 fps instead, but I would much rather shoot at 120 fps. How do you get around this?
