It's sad that the industry viewed "Amol Palekar way" as someone who won't make it big. The truth is Amol Palekar made some meaningful and relatable movies. Most of the mainstream movies made back then are cringe to watch now. But Amol Palekar movies are timeless and a delight to watch!

I feel it's okay.. Until he love them want good for them is ok.we all have some behaviour tough to change tat too at this age must be tough.. Some parents can't show or express nd it's okay..we all should take that way nothing to be ashamed. .very sure if his child ll need him he ll leave be the first one to be there.may be silent support system. My father passed away..yes i loved him like anything means chat even thought ever..nd we had gret bond m his daughter elder .nd he was very sweet caring calm..funny too but I can't dare to talk of bf etc..no never that kind of respect..u can say..it's not fear it's a respect. In Indian family few still Carry on.unlike my younger sister can speak anything. But I can't nor my father ll do ...yes he talk about my marriage etc but nothing like open thing as there was a thin line...respect in my eyes nd same he given..I miss him like crazy. .it's a deep pain in heart neck whenever I discuss. .him I can only pray.

31:05 to 31:25 uff. He somehow couldn't answer the question but i felt he was fighting something inside very much painful and that was enough to make him a bit upset onwards as the interview continues till the end, if somebody can feel it..😢. I can honestly feel and relate it with what my experience had been with my Dad when he'd feel minute things and take it heart. I lost him untimely but now it kills me from inside out, thinking of those days when he'd feel sad for anything, feels if I were the reason for...! . Dad ppl r more sensitive, quite introvert and emotionally weak to get hurt upon little things. I wish they'd not make Rishi sir feel sad asking him such questions and then suggesting him as if he was not playing his role like an exemplary father..No, he must have raised Ranbir with full of his responsibility as a Dad, we are none to judge or suggest him.. I Love Rishi sir so much and all my respects to him. He's in a much better place now and we can only miss him. 😢. ❤️4m🇵🇰

God only knows how many tears have been shed for this brash man, who literally took love from everyone around the globe. He accepted so many doings of his, with such nonchalance, that it makes me feel that as a 31 yo, did I really know him from before? If I could ever meet Neetu ji, I'd tell her... "Your story with him continues. To inspire many, to be tolerant, loving, and loving unapologetically and unconditionally.". This man, who we call Rishi Kapoor is, and always be called in the present, the most real man, I have seen on camera to accept his flaws with so much dignity and realisation. He's so flawed yet so real that it feels good to call him my fave since I started on Bollywood.

This he told after he fell ill and was at the end of treatment in New York. So what Simi Ji told few years back, Rishi ji was to accept finally. One more thing while you comment please maintain the dignity, because person like Simi ji you should not use that kind of words,Comments should be healthy.

Probably the most real celebrity couple and interview. They reassure my faith in true love. Enjoyed it thoroughly but sad that Rishi Ji’s no more and Neetu Ji’s left alone. RIP!

What a beautiful couple. We all gonna miss Rishi kapoor. Loved his genuine personality. An incredible actor who outclass all the kapoors, with his skillful work. God bless his soul.

Genuine... straight from the heart... spontaneous ...blunt... brutally candid... - this Rendezvous is all of it n more. Rishi n Neetu, hugely successful stars madly in love in the seventies, enter the rough terrain of matrimony when the initial euphoria of love vanishes soon and the reality of parenthood, raising kids, career issues, conjugal strifes, midlife crises, children's settlement etc starts dominating, at times threatening the core of the relationship but the couple prove their resilience as years roll by. And here they are : happy, gracefully ageing, full of fun n laughter, baring their souls. The ravages of time have not been able to bedim their love ..with Neetu being the pillar... KUDOS to the ever elegant, graceful Simiji, becoming more n more radiant and beautiful with every passing year, for this absolutely blast of a rendezvous at an open space in Melbourne...drenched in joy, warmth, camaraderie, laughter, crowd's bindaas participation - a lovely departure from formal settings..

Neetu ji is so sweet and classy. Rishi ji was an amazing actor a legend. R.I.P. Bobby is my all times favorite.

rishi ji born with silver spoon is unapologetic about the way he is whereas Neetu had to earn everything. .this shows in her protective instinct. .but this marriage works because of they are pole apart and complete each other

I feel so privileged to have attended this live in Melbourne and also got to ask Neetu how hard it was to fit in the Kapoor Khandan as a bhahu. She answered the question so honestly n beautifully. Love you both as I have grown up watching your movies and felt honoured to see you in person .

But I feel Neetu was lucky to get married to rishi. I may b wrong but she was just an average looking actress. Rishi too good looking. Neetu looks nice now.

@@dodunair I think her beauty lied in her loyalty towards him and in the strength of her character. If only looks could keep marriages then they would have been divorced a long time ago! And yes, she was simply charming yet sensual as an actress! Loved her then n love her even more now! 🙂

Rishi was from our generation. In those days fathers had a different role , they took care of their family . Saying I love you all the time doesn't mean much. Rishi was old school man. These two were perfect couple this is true love a loving father & husband just didn't say I love all the time.so what. RIP Rishi.

OMG... watching this interview, it further reinforces that women are strong, because this woman, Neetu is strong to have remained married to Rishi Singh for all these decades. But, hey they made it work, so I wish them all the best.

Simiji is the best interviewer on Indian screens and I hope she gets another series. Grace personified and intelligent with a sense of humour. Rishiji and Neetuji were candid, honest, funny and touching.
