If you live near a large metro area or are in a college town there is most likely rugby being played in the area at the club level. Find out where the games are played and show up. Someone will have you understanding the laws in no time. The beauty of the game is its free flowing nature.

Only the All Blacks could come back from 17-0 down. What a thrilling game of rugby, the skill levels on show are just out of this world. Hats off to the players on both sides. Great to watch.

BB has the most physical ability I've ever seen in a 10. Only thing letting him down that can push him over DC to be the GOAT 10 is game management. Can't rely on straight talent and ability to win you games. When it's crunch time and your team is the back foot that's when the great players separate themselves.

who scored the last try?, the only thing letting him down that can push him over DC is DC sycophants like you.
@richardmatatahi4563 Жыл бұрын
BB scored the winning try??? he not only scores tries he saves tries and sets up tries. Been voted International player of the year 2016-17 & nominee 2018 he's one of the best, not many have 2 International player of the year awards. we can rely on him in a team game. When it's crunch time, he will put his hand up, which means "give me the ball" omminus signs, from a great player, there nothing wrong with his game management when he's a step ahead of the opposition. And normally it's goodnight nurse, turn out the lights.

I wholeheartedly agree. Cheika is also the hypocrite extraordinaire of the rugby world. Will always cry genocide when something goes against the wallabies, but will be the first to back up decisions that benefit them specifically. Like the infamous penalty against Scotland at World Cup. He endorsed Craig Joubert's decision and praised him to high heavens, as if he was in any position to actually comment or give verdict on the matter. And that's but one example. Seeing Cheika crying and suffering is truly happiness.

What a great game! Just so riveting throughout and really well balanced. On reflection, it’s a massive shame that Israel Folau ran off his mouth in the following couple of years leading to as we know his dismissal from the Wallabies, because he is such an outstanding domestic and international talent and in the long term his absence has been a true blow for this terrific sport.
@StretchFletcher Жыл бұрын
Nick, you are a dick! Israel has an opinion. As much as you woke dicks might not like it, he is entitled to it.
@2earache Жыл бұрын
@@StretchFletcher…….of COURSE he’s entitled to his opinion, but it can only take a blockhead like you to miss the point COMPLETELY. Even though the great Wallabies have very recently woken from their slumber and are now showing real resilience to the form they’ve displayed in their brilliant past, just imagine how potentially dangerous Australia would have been had Folau remained with the team when it really mattered, eh? It’s clear that you’re simply another wayward Christian and probably a homophobe into the mix. Ever heard of the brilliant, but now retired referee Nigel Owens? Look him up I suggest, before I’m pushed into having to answer that question for you! So with that in mind I can not only suggest that you have forfeited your right to respond like a marginally balanced ape, so your lifetime sentence therefore is to remain incarcerated in Dicksville for the rest of your miserable life! Sincerely yours, Captain Nick 👨✈️
@sirgus8727 Жыл бұрын
@Nick Purdy. So you don't believe in Free Speech? Israel was brilliant but because Aus had that mad lesbian feminist CEO, the hatred took off. Guess what, we've got her back now as head of NZ Sport. Put there by our woke Labour Gov't who said we want a homosexual woman this time.
@2earache Жыл бұрын
@@sirgus8727…..you just fell into the same hole as @StretchFletcher (above) did! Following this ‘incident’, there were clarifications from the global rugby community that free speech in our Democratic system is an inalienable right. Correct. However - and this is where his behaviour crossed that red line - Folau had reached a professional peak in his career (like a number of other individuals in every sport) where he had become a highly respected and influential figure most especially for the generations of kids who had dreams of achievement whatever paths they would eventually pursue. It’s no one’s business should he want to express his opinions on particularly sensitive subjects like religion, women’s rights, the LGBTQ discourse and so on. But we now live in an age - I don’t know if you’re aware of it or not - where young people quite rightly are making more and more demands of behaving in a more tolerant way and their expectations of individuals like Folau are so high that they can only hope that he will set that standard, that example. Rugby is a highly visible sport and what with these new social platforms and the media, you cannot afford to mix your personal hang ups on the field to how you feel in private. It’s a simple equation really. He’s an intelligent man presumably and he must have been aware that by openly exposing his feelings of revulsion for anyone who doesn’t fit the bill - be it someone who is gay, disabled, of a different race and so on - he’s making it very clear to those who will one day fit his boots, that everything demeaning he says is acceptable. In all seriousness, do you not agree that this is an inherent problem? Embracing and accepting all the challenges which we’re faced with each day is enough, but where best a place to begin than realising that need in ourselves. Best to lead and not follow!
