Left home at 4am. Had to travel by bus from Yorkshire because the trains were on strike. Found out I was going to be an Uncle for the first time on the way down to Wembley. Watched us win, saw that stunning team goal from Redmond. Got back home at 2am, had to be back in work at 6am. Best. Day. Ever.

Norwich clearly outplayed Boro on the day; it was as simple as that. The first goal may have been lucky, with Jerome capitalizing on Ayala's mistake, and Konstantopoulos could have certainly done better. However, the second goal was pure class. Many Norwich fans had thought Lewis Grabban would start as the striker in the final, given Jerome's goal drought before the playoff semi-final against Ipswich. Yet, Jerome's goal in this match vindicated Alex Neil's decision to keep him on and leave Grabban on the bench.

The first half of the match was probably the best of the best as a start,when I watched Jerome’s goal was a clinical strike and as for Redmond his goal was I felt he was comfortable on the ball and he knew he would tuck in,to be fair though Norwich were the better side than Middlesbrough in the first half.Second half you might be thinking that Middlesbrough will be back in the game but apparently not,they haven’t got the quality,as Norwich they deserve to go to the premier league.
