When i saw reptile team my mind literally went to Sceptile.

I was gonna use Sceptile, but I wanted to use more underrated Pokemon, such as Seviper and Kecleon 🙂

Gyarados is described on Serebii and Bulbapedia as a Sea Snake, which is a reptile

Though serpent is translated with snake in many languages, in English is sometimes used also to describe non strictly reptilian creatures, having more to do with shape. For example, in English you can describe the sea monster Cetus from greek mythology as a sea serpent, even though it's described as dolphin/whale with the head of a boar. The same can be said about Scylla, which has the torso of a woman with several dog heads mounted on long snake-like necks coming from where the legs would be. All of this is to say that Gyarados can still be a fish and be described as a serpent

I'm pretty sure gyarados is a fish considering magikarp is a fish. Gyarados is similar to an oarfish.
