Anyway, I know the feeling, I was so tempted to cancel the order because All the Rumors about Dodge coming out with a New Generation of Performance Cars by 2020-2021 . One rumor was a 2 Door 1000 HP Charger Hellephant and a New updated generation Challenger and Charger, So I'm like losing sleep debating if i should wait ?? I decided to just bite the Bullet and order the Redeye even if they do come with new generation of Muscle cars in the next few years ! @@rayrocco2978 I don't think you can go wrong with the RedEye. 2021 is a ways away and you could always trade up if needed. The GT500 will likely get a large markup and really is in same ballpark with other cars in the segment, just a bit more power but for a premium price. My ZL1 will come in mid Feb as well so it seems that's the normal course due to holidays and transport like you said. Good things come to those who wait :)

Genuinely was planning on buying this car, love the style, aero and engine, and the DCT is cool and all, but I’m disappointed that they didn’t at least offer a manual, I know most buyers will likely opt for the DCT even if they offered the manual, but they definitely lost one for not offering the stick. This is coming from a 2014 GT500 track pack owner. Guess the S197 will be the last “true” Shelby (I mean except the gt350) unless they shock us later when the car is production ready..

I'm not sure about anyone else but the snake badge perfectly in the middle of the grill bothers me a bit, personally I think it'll look better without it. Honesty with that much power under the hood I'll want that dual clutch automatic instead of a manual to make the most of it. Either way, what a car. Probably can't afford it anytime soon.

Thanks, Justin. Great work! Liked and subbed. That seems like all they're going to say for now but it's looking pretty good so far. I expect to see these on the street here in Vancouver soon after they hit the market. It seems people here are very interested in supercars. McLarens, Lamborghinis, and Porche GT3s just seem ordinary. This car seems much more down to earth. It's very stylish but not at all outlandish. It looks like it's got the right stuff but it doesn't have to flaunt it. It's very cool! There are dozens of GT350s here already. It seems likely some more heavy trading is going to happen at local Ford dealers when they have one of these in their showroom. Questions: Will it be built by Ford or by a contractor? How many will be built and how fast? How short will it stop? Will there be buyer selection by Ford as in the GT? Who will drive it at the Nurburgring and will it do better than the ZL11LE? How many radiators does it have? How much dealer markup will the market stand? and a hundred more...
@americanmuscle
@americanmuscle 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Fraser! Now as far as some of your questions are concerned- the car will be made by Ford and not a contractor. No word on the number of cars that will be produced and for how long. No word on braking distance. No buyer application necessary here but you can bet on a hefty ADM from dealers. I believe the car has 5 total different coolers. I wouldn't hold my breath on a 'Ring time- Ford doesn't seem to disclose their figures much. Thanks again! -Justin

Few problems: 1.Wonder how quick the clutches are going to wear out in this thing. 2.Also they should have done a ZR1 style hood with a cut out to accommodate a standard supercharger. 3. What happened to "Vemon kills demons" 11 secs ain't gonna get it. It's nice but not as hyped as I once was. I will stick with 2011 GT500.
