How do you use the world time function?

It points to a 24hr indicator on the dial and is meant to help traveling watch owners tell the time in a time zone other than where they currently are (maybe their home time zone). That’s called a gmt function. This watch also includes a “world timer” function which is all the names of the cities you see on the bezel. If you turn the bezel until your current city is aligned with your current hour hand, you can accurately see the time of cities around the world.

I have the Mido Ocean Star GMT Limited Edition for Hodinkee, which is basically this but with a more legible dial, and it's one of my favorite watches. Love it.

I bought this watch a year ago and it has spent more time at the shop getting its besel fixed than on my wrist. It is a piece of garbage.
