I made the mistake of buying the multi hedge trimmer/chainsaw and only came across this video after finding it absolutely rubbish. I thought I was doing something wrong. I bought specifically for the chainsaw attachment to keep some laurel trees under control and every single time I attempted to cut a single branch it would stop and had to be pulled away as the teeth were embedded but not cutting. I gave up and returned it and carried on using my old school trusty handsaw instead!

@@melward3975 you're right. For someone doing lots of chainsaw work or something heavy duty it's underpowered, but for average sized branches and if youre not in a rush it does just fine. What it lacks in power it makes up for in flexibility. There isn't another product on the market which will allow quick swapping of heads so you only need one tool, plus the quick adjustment of the telescopic pole is so so useful.

Roger, Are you saying the cord always breaks or only when you invert it for edging, please? Otherwise, surely there is a fundamental fault with the trimmer and should go back to the maker? I had one come today, but not used it yet, but the ones I've seen have have a cord that's twisted, so much stronger as its several cords turned together. Would like an answer if you have time, please.

Not all trimmer line is made equally. The cheap stuff is useless, its not the machine. Get branded, not amazon/ebay/supermarket special

The Einhell Trimmer & Hedge Trimmer looks crap is slow and needs to have more power it lacking in performance. I am currently looking at the Einhell Classic GC-HH 9048 900W Electric Pole Hedge Trimmer but not to sure how good it really is after watching your video but your one is batteries and there never any good when it come for more heavy duty cutting performance.
