I'm heading to Coral with a friend in May. We have every intention of eating at the Selection a la carte restaurants nightly. I do buffets for breakfast, poolside for lunch and a al carte for dinner.

We absolutely love iberostar! I enjoyed these vlogs! There are some haters in the comments, but iberostar is actually quite lovely so I 100% believe it’s genuine. we always can’t wait to go back! Next trip will hopefully be bavaro coral level. My husband dreams of the smell in the lobby 😂

Nice video. It might have been nice to see more of the Selection side of the resort. Some people could never afford Coral, or have kids so, seeing the Selection (other than the lobby and two rooms) might have been nice as well.

If you liked the Grand in the DR, but the hospitality and staff in Cancun, you should visit the Grand Paraiso about 45 minutes down the coast towards Playa del Carmen. It is absolute perfection!

Early November is still off season. Season begins from Thanksgiving to late June. July through early November off season. (Hurricane Season) I usually travel to the Caribbean the first week in July. The weather is great and almost zero chance of a hurricane. All Inclusive resorts have always been my favorite vacations except my Disney trips of course.

Does the resort use Hurricane shutters and can guests get optional travel insurance through the resort? This area does get bad storms being in that gap with Western Cuba. What about ADA Accessible rooms? The rooftop pools are nice but those stairs would be challenging for some. Downtown looked nice; it really depends where you go to get the best safety.

The Cartel, it's real in Mexico. Take this from a Texan that lives 2 hours from the boarder. However it is safer down in Cancun. Mexico is a Dangerous place if you wonder away from these type of Resorts. You should do it, it's more thrilling than a Coaster. Heh...

Coral is definitely the way to go. However, I'm not crazy about the rooftop balcony. I'd prefer the walk-out balcony with the jetted tub - don't want to deal with the spiral stairs.

You both described the service and people perfectly. Which is why Ive visited so many times. They are kind, sweet hard working and fun people. For me when it comes to entertainment they cant be beat. The excursions, weather and beaches are why I love it so much. You brought back so many memories for me of Iberostar. I always stayed in the villas. Wish you could have shown those. All in all I truly enjoyed this series and am happy to see that you both did as well.

Its good that the police are around so much where all the visitors and tourists are at. A year or so ago, some areas there were having issues with the drug cartel people killing other people, probably involved in the drugs with them, out in public. Some were killed on a beach not far from the tourist locations. So, it's excellent the police are out and being seen. And hopefully will actually help in a bad situation.
