Full review of Thavorn Beach Village resort & spa Beachfront Cottage || 2022 Thailand Series

we stayed here last month. Believe it or not, the beachfront cottages have exactly the same layout and space as the tropical garden bungalows (behind), and yet the tropical garden bungalows cost a fraction of the price of the beachfront. Go for the tropical garden bungalows folks. They are just 20 sec walk from the beach but much cheaper. Fantastic resort; we loved every minute here

Great video, very informative. We will be staying there in November 2024, and have a beach front bungalow booked. We will reach out and see if we can request a detached bungalow. The one burning question is, at check in do you have to drag all your luggage up those steps? Thanks very much.

Hope you enjoy your staying! As for check-in, no do not need to drag your luggage up those steps. They have golf carts available to take you and your luggage directly to your room. You can hand your luggage to the valets near where your taxi drops off.

This hotel was a short drive from Patong Beach, where the main strip as well as restaurants and shopping are (Crazy night life, not really family friendly after dark). There's not much within walking distance, although there is a restaurant on site and food panda is an option.

We were there in October 2022. I think July is still a big part of the rainy season. October was the very end of it. But it's been a while since I thought about it, so you may want to double check on Google.

Hi, unfortunately we are no longer in Thailand. But the view out the window is pretty straightforward, it's about 3 meters of grass and then you're in the sand right on the beach.

That would be the beachfront cottage. That is as close as you can get to the beach. that is the room we stayed in and is the one we cover in our video.

I wouldn't say it's kid focused. But they do have quite a few things that the little ones may enjoy. Lots of water sports, the beach, and the petting zoo.
