I would have liked a better stock guage. If not the full-on Ride Command like the Dark Horse then something at least digital with a tach and fuel guage. I would have also liked full-LED lighting.

Great review. Only note id add is that it isnt quite simply a scout with addons that you could just buy a scout and add the bits you want on. The front wheel is now a larger 19" wheel which helps in various ways and isnt a simple upgrade you can add to a usual scout.

Good review, The new Scouts history started in 2015 and apart from the name has no affiliation with the Springfield built Scouts that Burt rode " I love my Indian so this is not a anti brand rant"

Nice video man! Few days ago i had the chance to test ride the scout rogue and i have to say that they really improved the seat compared with the seat on the scout bobber. It was much more comfortable on the rogue.

Still not comfortable for me, but I agree with you, the bobber had the worst stock seat ever. Like sitting on a hard piece of plastic. Rogue is great, just swap that seat out and ride all day!

It's not that they haven't as there is options you can buy for a marked up value. Why solve the problem if you can make money from it? Car manufacturers use to be a lot more reliable than they are now making a lot more money due to fancy computer crap daisy chaining issues. O2 sensor is bad causes cruise and traction in all subarus to go out but they'll hit you for a hr diagnosis costing $100 extra.

How does this bike compare to the Rebel 1100 DCT? I’m leaning Rebel but mainly because I don’t trust Indians reliability factor but their styling is better.

I like Indian as well. I'm in the market for my next cruiser, for me it was between an Indian chief and the HD Low rider S. As much as I prefer Indian as a company I'm having to go with the Low rider, just not enough aftermarket support for the chief yet

This is the 2023 scout. I just got off the new redesigned 2024 scouts. Will have 2 videos on the scout 101 and scout bobber coming up here in the coming weeks. What I can tell you from my ride on both is the suspension is improved but it is drastically improved on the 101 scout with fully adjustable front fork and adjustable fox racing shocks in the rear. I do not remember off the top of my head what the scout rogue had for adjustable but I believe it was only the rear.

Indian has a lot of different configurations on each bike and its kinda annoying figuring them out. Its great to have options, i just wanna know which has the biggest balls.

In the Indian Scout lineup, that would be the new Scout 101. Same engine as the other 2025 scouts, but they tuned it up to crank out more HP and Torque. Well the main difference with the Rogue is the 19 inch front wheel which results in a very different (and better) handling.

Yes the rogue has a 19 inch front wheel compared to the 16 inch front wheel the bobber and the regular scout have. That's what sold me on my 2023 scout rogue is how nice that 19 inch front wheel felt. That was a year ago and 15,000 later. I love the scouts especially my rogue.

They were pretty good. Not quite as loud as an air cooled engine of course, but still better than any sport bike or the Harley nightster pipes.

In theory yes. I hardly noticed any difference between the Rogue and the other scout variants. If you rode a bunch of them frequently side by side to compare you might notice, but I wouldn’t let the minor handling difference sway me one way or another between the scout lineup. It’s a minor difference

Interesting you ask that question - I'm at Americade 2023 right now. Just rode a scout. Will have a video on that edited and posted within the next couple weeks. Short answer though, yes. PLENTY of good power on the scout and the handling is excellent for fast turns and good lean angle.

I THINK you can upgrade to the 4 inch ride command gauge but I confess I'm not 100% positive on that. The scout rogue has just been discontinued as Indian Motorcycle just released an ENTIRE new lineup of scouts for 2024 (beginning of April). So when I went to check on this for you I couldn't find the exact info. New test rides on the new lineup coming soon!

I've done a few demo rides. I did one recently for yamaha and someone got kicked out just for revving the motor. These guys were strict they had a small meeting with all the rider's and gave out rules before every ride.

Looking to get into riding next summer, I’m not going to go out and buy a big brand new bike as my first, I’m just trying to get an idea of the pros and cons of higher end bikes so I know what I should be day dreaming about until the day comes to get that big bad bike.
