I realised it was about time for me to upgrade my tools & so I ordered this tool set and over the last week I have been working on some projects with it so I can figure out if I like them or not.
The result: I love the chain-nose pliers, snips, and round nosed pliers & will be using them for most of my projects going forward. I still prefer my flush cutters to the semi-flush wire cutters included in the kit, so probably wont be using those for much. The flat-nosed pliers are useful for work-hardening wire and I'm planning on dipping them in tool magic to be able to get full use out of them.
I love the little case they came in & will be replacing the wire cutters with my own flush cutters, replacing the flat nosed pliers with my 6-step bail making pliers, making room for my magic crimper & a tube of beading needles and that will give me a fairly complete tool set I can take with me.
