Totally Agree. This puts Roger in serious perspective to me. He's so damn impressive.That other guy is a head coach at a BJJ academy I used to go to and I've NEVER seen him pulled into deep water like this. (For reference he's about 5ft9 and about 70-73kgs.)

The thing about Roger that makes him so good is his size. He's straight massive.
@timothycarey3883 Жыл бұрын
You dont train do you, size has very little to do at that level, guys like jacare and xande beat roger and were smaller.
@Bsaunders17 Жыл бұрын
A lot of Rogers game is definitely attribute dependent. He let buchecha put his knee in to open the guard, and he just closed the guard with his knee in. Most people can’t do that. He’s also able to walk his feet up very high for guard, like when he broke jacare’s arm. And his Mount is just insane, you can buck all you want and his knees would barely move

And if I was Shaq's size I would have made it to the NBA- you see how silly you sound? There have been BJJ guys who were Roger's size or taller who haven't accomplished nearly as much as Roger. You are a real too if you think size matters more than skill. He has 17 losses for crying out loud. He tapped to Fernando "Tererê" Augusto who is not a large guy by any stretch.
