These young adults want what older generations had; safe schools, abortion rights and a chance at prosperity. They want people to own up to failures. They want adults that can accept the consequences of their actions. They want democracy.

Abortion? If you agree all 50 states should be forced to allow it, then you have to be open to all 50 states NOT allowing it. The other option, is putting it BACK TO THE STATE LEVEL like Trump wants. I am a retired professional white woman that was abused and discriminated against my entire life/career. Please don’t go backwards! Human rights for ALL! Those are important issues, but the Electoral College is by far the greatest problem the US faces. If not for the EC there would have never been a President W or a President trump and we wouldn't be in this mess.

I would say their perception is their reality in how they see things. Sure we would like them to understand on the level of someone older but, understand their telling you what they are viewing with their eyes.
