For a short route, it’s a really interesting one. The 42 covers so many areas and the amount of twists and turns this route has is amazing, it was very scenic between Old Kent Road and Tower Bridge and I also like the parts where this route does run on its own. Altogether, I rank this route a 9/10, totally recommend it.

Great 42 visual LBN!This bus does have dangerous routing to it around some rough estates 😮.I can recall back in the days when bus 42 used to use ( East Lancs Myllennium bodied Scania N94UBs)with number plate 02.
