Full Route Visual | London Bus Route 224 - Alperton Sainsbury's to St Raphael's | (DLE30309) YX68URO

Hello Everyone, I hope you are doing well:
The 224 is operated by London United RATP using Enviro200MMC's from Park Royal [RP] Garage. The route is a nice one that goes from Alperton Sainsbury's, Alperton Station, Stonebridge, Park Royal, Central Middlesex Hospital, Harlesden, Brent Park & St Raphael's Estate. I do think that this route is nice, but it does countless loops around Park Royal and Brent Park which I found annoying. It does a loop at Twyford Abbey Road idk why lol; then it does a loop at Park Royal ASDA, Central Middlesex Hospital & at Brent Park Tesco, it's understandable why because I think the route helps to connect residents to local superstores, estates and health facilities. The route actually used to be nice until TFL decided to make a devastating decision to withdrawing it between Wembley Stadium & Alperton Sainsbury's because the link was very useful to connecting Park Royal and Wembley High Road & C.M.H. I also do think that the route should do a loop at Stonebridge Park Station then return on route - since there are already countless loops along this route.
I do however like to thank the nice driver that let me film at the start and for her for subscribing to this channel. I also would like to also thank the second driver also for allowing the visual to be continued from Park Royal ASDA. Metroline West did have this route up until the 13th October 2018 from its closed Alperton [ON] Garage as well as the 223. However, ML West took back 223 (6 months ago), but from Willesden Junction [WJ] Garage. Idk why this route wasn't up for tender last year in October 2023, but I do think that the route is having a 2 year extension, so it will get tendered by the end of next around October 2025. I do want to do the 223, but I have to wait and see if TFL confirm the Harrow Weald OXHEY LANE extension.
I do hope that you guys enjoy this visual, I'm surprised that no one has done this route before as well lol...

Nice visual, I think the 224 actually made sense to be cut back from Wembley tbh, at the same time the 440 was extended which gave Park Royal residents a much more direct link to Wembley. Residents in Alperton could still use the 83/297/483. The 224’s bit between Harlesden & St Raphael’s has only existed since 2011 due to it replacing the withdrawn PR2.

Lovely video, this route looks so annoying though with all the double runs and ins and outs. I thought driving the 326 at Follow Valley and 303 and Quakers Course was annoying.

Although its sad about the old 224. The 440 serves the purpose of the old 224, people can get from wembley to park royal even acton with no fuss. Although service could be improved
