Hello Everyone, The 384 is operated by Metroline Travel from Potters Bar [PB] Garage using Enviro200's (DEM's) and arising Volvo BZL electrics. The route is so amazing: It has three hail & ride sections and it passes along many narrow roads which helps to link places very well. The route goes from Cockfosters, East Barnet, New Barnet, High Barnet, Barnet Hospital & Barnet Quinta Drive. Then, on the 29th August 2020, the route was extended to Edgware; (via Apex Corner) which I am very happy about because it was needed to connect the A1(M) & the A411. It now provides a quicker alternative to the 107 without getting off at Stirling Corner // Barnet Lane and crossing over to get the 292. It is a useful extension that was incredibly needed. Getting from Edgware, Barnet Hospital & High Barnet is now easier. If you want to get to High Barnet to Edgware, please take this route, DO NOT TAKE THE 107! The 107 goes around Elstree & Borehamwood. This is the only direct way by bus to get from New Barnet to Cockfosters. The route has no visuals towards Edgware. So seeing that the BZL invasion had begun, I decided to attempt this visual. With this, I would like to thank the driver for letting me film at the front. I had to cover the driver's face to protect his privacy (as requested) - Also, this was the only pic I got so I just have to charge it.
The journey was quite smooth at the start. There wasn't much traffic. However, once we got back onto the A411, it decided to rain which pissed me off. It literally rained throughout the whole extension part. Then, there was traffic along the A1. I do not plan to do this again, it literally took me like 2 hours to get to Cockfosters... It's sad because these buses are set to be withdrawn soon. They are nice and they are in good shape and in great condition. They suit the route more than the BZL's. I feel like Metroline should at least keep these for another 2 years. Also towards the end at Edgware, there was a 186 bus blinded to Hayes & Harlington Station which was weird lol. There was also a rare working WDE on 240 as well.
