We experienced the scenic Full City Tour of Ho Chi Minh City by a bus tour in Saigon on our day 2 of Vietnam Trip. It was refreshing and comfortable, must try it when you visit Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam. This was the hop on hop off bus tour of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam.
It costs 150K VND per person for 1 hour tour and the ticket counter is just on the left side of Saigon Opera House (ONE TIP - Don't book from Travel Agent, visit the starting point near the opera house and book there yourself)

The current official name, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, was first proclaimed in 1945, and later adopted in 1976. It is abbreviated as TP.HCM, and translated in English as Ho Chi Minh City, abbreviated as HCMC, and in French as Hô-Chi-Minh-Ville (the circumflex is sometimes omitted), abbreviated as HCMV. The name commemorates Ho Chi Minh, the first leader of North Vietnam. This name, though not his given name, was one he favored throughout his later years.
